The minimum VRAM for this game is 8GB and tbh newer games on PC have been releasing in a rough state lately. If you want to play day 1 with the least amount of issues possible I recommend getting it on PS5. Go into the Settings, and change difficulty within the Gameplay section. At any point in the game you can change the difficulty, so long as you are not in combat.
